We want to thank you for your cooperation in the past for providing quality products to Northeast Manufacturing and our customers. We appreciate your efforts and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.
To better serve our end customers in an increasingly difficult market, Northeast Manufacturing has been gathering information on Quality and Delivery performance of our vendors.
In addition to these Quality and Delivery measures, in the event of a delivered nonconformance, we will be issuing Supplier Corrective Action Reports We will expect these to be completed and returned. Return of these Supplier Corrective Action Reports will also be tracked with the returned date.
The purpose of the Supplier Corrective Action Report program is to identify issues, allow for investigation of the cause and apply the appropriate fix so that the issue(s) will not reoccur or at least the risk of re-occurrence minimized. Your Quality and Delivery issues will be reviewed periodically.
Should you receive a Supplier Corrective Action Report, please record the true cause of the nonconformance. These causes will typically include responses such as:
- Untrained Operator
- Misread print
- Tool Wear
- New Revision
In addition, we need a response regarding what you are going to do to remedy the cause to preclude or prevent similar issues on future orders.
Your timely responses to Supplier Corrective Actions will assist Northeast in working better with you as a supplier and to resolve potential issues in the future.
Lastly, we have also started tracking your on time delivery. Preference will be given to suppliers with the better record of on time delivery. Not meeting delivery dates may lead to suspensions as an approved supplier.
